I think it's still very Vegas just by the sheer size of this project. Within the US, I doubt you can find this kind of ambitious development anywhere else, so maybe this is the new "style" - BIG projects.

No, i think Vegas is developing a new identity. It will always be a show town and gambling hot spot, but the city needs to build up its office infrastructure as well. Vegas will always have its identity. It is Vegas, what happens here stays here and when your mundane life gets boring you could always use a little Vegas, or should you tell people about your expensive taste in shows and fashion, gambling with high rollers and living in beautiful suites, careful, your Vegas is showing (want me to keep going?)

well i think its good Las Vegas is trying new developments, a mix of modern-glass towers going up and the theme-resorts...the best of both worlds...

Wow this really has the appearance of a city within a city. By far my favorite project in Vegas right now.

And nice boobs!

That's great news, and I found out that if I go to Las Vegas, it'll be over my Christmas vacation.

I've become a junkie on City Center's progress! Let's have some more pictures!

That looks fantastic and very futuristic! That is one bloody massive project. I was in Las Vegas in nov 2006 and it definately looks like it's time for a return visit sometime soon.

Di classe assoluto!

Absolutely classy place. Total and compete elegance.

I picture everyone here on Skyscraper City having a sip or two at the swank bar.

this is from august but its still cool, the one thing that really hits me from this photo is that despite all the construction the CVS (flat square building with white roof) right next to the mandarin stands on its little 1 acre space when all around it the area is changing

Seeing a mirage

Thats what I love about it!

It's just like a huge movie set being built up in the desert. The very idea and the very imagination and creativity that envelopes it!

City delirious!
