It's amazing that the current boom in Las Vegas is even bigger than during the late 90's. This place just never cools off.

By the way, great project and great job on the updates. Keep up the good work.

cool city , ever cooler buildings , maybe they will star buiding some supertalls apartment buidings away from the airport, o even better move the airport.

Vdara foundation is coming together fast. Can't see down in that hole, but that blue frame looks like they're starting to erect a tower crane.

The Mandarin foundation is taking shape fast, looks like they might start adding floors soon.

Fully erect tower crane just appeared on the Vdara site.

Yes, but I think I read a figure somewhere of $2,000 per sq foot. Is that in the ballpark? Way too much for a peon like me.

I don't know the exact size of the smallest unit, but can't imagine it being smaller than 500 square feet, which would come to about $1,000 per square foot, which is the same as the current price at Trump. Maybe some of the penthouses in The Harmon or the Mandarin are more per square foot?

Agreed. Maybe a fountain or the like would have been better. We have enough palms trees here.

I'm still waiting for word if there will be some water included somewhere. The first renderings (see first page) show a fountain by the main towers, what happened to it?

nevermind, it was probably killed during the resign. The original model had a bunch of interesting features, such as a twisting (not just leaning) tower. That was replaced for these more boxy versions.
