It only got up to a pathetic 5 degrees today (our normal low for November 3 is +4 degrees at Shearwater), and right now it's sitting at the freezing mark, making it the coldest day so far in Halifax.

The last couple of weeks have been way colder than normal.

It's supposed to be +17C in Kamloops on Monday, which is above normal for November. In Vancouver it's been raining insanely for the last week...bringing in the rainy season with style.

16 degrees today, since Thursday we've had four days of heavy rain (355 mm) from the remnants of Typhoon Cimaron. BC is flooding.

Last couple of days have been pretty mild, but Ottawa has officially entered the "everything looks like a wasteland" time of the year that is November to May - two inches of rotten, sodden leaves on the ground, everything is permanently wet, it gets dark at four thirty, that kind of BS.

No snow for the next few weeks according to the weather network though.

10c and mostly sunny today. Looks like rainy season has started in Vancouver. Probably that will spell an end to The Weathernetwork's daily
reports on the drought.
