![]() ... So I guess the road through CityPlace will be become the next lakeshore? So all those people who bought a condo, will get stuck in nightmare traffic everytime they drive home? If you've seen lower Spadina - you'll know what I'm talking about. Look at the picture and look at the Gardiner and Lakeshore blvd. I bet that this will be the road of choice for 905ers. ... It makes me want to charge tolls for all those who don't live in Toronto yet clog our streets slowing down our city, cause they want to live in the burbs and have 4 sq metres of backyard that they get to see at 9:00 everynight. It's time for a congestion tax.... and photo radar, but that's nother thread. |

You got me at "charge tolls" (or is it "charge tools"). Take the proceeds and plough them into transit. I would not discriminate between 905 and 416. It's working elsewhere. Not a fan of the radar though (unless it is for school zones). |

Speaking of North York, we should spread the rumour that Toronto is the original York, and that New York is named after York i.e. Toronto.

lol, oh lord.
LMAO @ Monty Burns. Priceless. One day we will turn around and notice that Downtown, Midtown (yNe), and NYCC--will all become one continuous skyline with thriving streetscapes and soaring buildings. (Notice I didn't say Yonge Street, my vision encompasses west to at least Bathurst and east to... is it Mt Pleasant?
