Madrids CBD certainly doesn't want to become another terribly planned city like Sydney or London . Come to think of it of those three cities on your avatar only Melbourne can pressume of being a well planned city .
You get me wrong.....I have been to Madrid many times and it is one of my favourite cities in the world to visit.
My opinion is just that the four towers look strange just standing there....there is not enough variety in design and height. Sometimes skylines and cities can be 'over produced' or too planned and that's what this looks like to me.

Thanks for your comments, guys.

It seems that night becomes these towers. Another pic by Logan:

I could't agree more! Yet, hopefully once the four towers are finished and the cranes are gone, the CTBA cluster won't look as "over produced". I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

Are there any more towers planned close to the Cuatro Torres?

Yes, lonely! Look at them, they're beautiful but they need a bit more around them, at least higher than the ones you show!

Are in study a near city-planning operation called "prolongación de la castellana" with more skyscrapers...the four towers are the beginning. They cannot be constructed ALL SIMULTANEOUSLY.....In few years there will be more.

the city planning its delayed by political subjects, in 2008 its posible unfreezing but today it´s unfortunately blocked ....if you want more information click here

sorry my bad english
salutations

Cool towers!

But they look a bit... isolated, like not having any highrises around.

Repsol looks like OCBC Centre though.
