Dear Nagshah,

Your concern about the project delay has come true. Received an e-mail from Nakheel stating that the project will be delayed.........they will communicate the new date as well as a revised payment schedule soon. The payment due in March is cancelled.

I have received the same e-mail indicating the delay and revising the payments but no words of completion date etc or any other relevant info;
I think we have to wait for further news from Nakheel office.

I emailed Nakheel, and I actually got a response by a very kind lady named Muna. After reading all of your posts, I freaked out because I never received/heard anything about the delay not by email or phone. Anyway the lady did say that it would be at least 6 months..........I hope so. The construction fees are going to be outrageous!

So when is the project going to be handed over to residents ? Any exact date. I've heard the project has appreciated in value recently ?

HOPEFULLY Nakheel knows. No news from them on the revised handover date as well as the new payment plan.

Was on the site yesterday and as I had anticipated I saw good progress on just 2 villas (looked like 5 bed Legacy & Regional). I guess they want to complete these show villas & launch the sale of Phase 10 i.e. the cluster close to Jumeirah Island.

You took pictures of Jumeirah Heights construction site. I was there exploring the area

You can see lake on your pictures. There is no lake in Jumeirah Park.

DXB fan do you have any pics of the two villas that you saw coming up? I usually drive around and 'explore' but I haven't for awhile, I saw the base of the villas and the main pillars. I'm eager to see the update.
