Sweet helicopter pad. And sinking soil doesnt matter because it would be attached to bedrock and bedrock doesnt sink.

honestly i dont care witch bulding they put on that plot of land...i will look amazing...and have the Jin and the SWFC to complament it....an everchange and futuristic skyline that has Shanghai on the top tier of the worlds best skylines

Putting it right there as it shows in the render between Tapei 101 and the Financial Center would be perfect, especially if it is to be the tallest of the three.

Saw a program on the building of the SWFC and the Jin Mao tower a while back. They arent anchored to bed rock. They drove thousands of long steel rods deep into the soil to stabilize the foundation. Bed rock is something like 800 ft down. Thats a pretty deep basement...
