I'm waiting to see what the view is like from a typical office... a few stories up from the common area and looking through the exoskeleton support beams. Those photos don't give me much hope, but I hope I'm wrong.

If you look closely, I think all those exoskeletons are purposely placed horizontally in-between the floor gaps, such that if glance out the window while sitting down in front of your desk, you will not really notice them.

20.000 - 30.000 people to fit inside this building? That's a huge exaggeration from my point of view.
I would estimate a number between 5000 - 10.000 max.
You have to consider the office & apartment spaces are made for luxury requirements only. No more than a few thousand people in Shanghai can and actually will afford this.
