The news article said that they're going to construct 86 of these rebar cages. They are 50m high, 6m wide, 1.2m thick.

spectacular, no other way to describe it. Very few towers come close to how great it looks.

so glad to hear it will be topped out by 2012. Cant imagine this towerr being topped out. Its only been few months since ground break, and slurry wall put into place so quickly.

I guess we'll see the core accelerating to the roof soon as it comes out of ground. But I get bad feeling as well, in 2 years???

30 months should be far enough, that's a floor every 8 days on the average. Why not?

the core will probably rise 1 floor every 3-4 days in its best times....so that's definitely possible

There may also be short breaks to allow the rest of the structure to reach certain targets at the core. So yep, I think it is possible too.
