nice progress, this tower is going to be a pearl of beauty. in ~5 years shanghai will challenge hong kong for being #1 skyline in the world!

Dont you mean Europe and China. US has gone down more than Europe. Crunch started in US and has caused most damage there, more than in Europe. So if Europe was one the 2 most important entities, it's still one now.

Now back on-topic, great quick digging, but I don't think they will get up with HK soon with best skyline.

Are you serious? The first post covers the designs that were rejected and then it shows the final approved design. I am not aware of any changes since.
