How many observation decks does Lujiazui district need? Oriental Pearl, Jin Mao, SWFC, soon Shanghai Tower. Seems kinda silly in some respects.

Exception is the "Top of the Rock", from GE Building finished after the Empire State Building observation deck.

Shanghai Tower will have the world's highest non-enclosed observation deck or the world's highest observation deck full stop??

if they fit an observation deck on a building, why wouldn't they. We need to remember, these observation decks are priced differently as well. Not everyone can afford the SWFC, and even if they can, there are only a restricted number of people allowed at one time/ in one session.

I just find it weird that there are 3 (and soon 4) observation decks so close together. At least in Chicago there's space between Sears Tower and JHC. In NY, you've got ESB and 30 Rockefeller. Both a ways apart. When 1WTC opens, that'll also be much further south.

I had no idea there's a difference in price for the Shanghai decks. I think in Chicago's and NY they all run around $20 USD for adults. What are the prices in Shanghai?

About $10.

Its funny, there are 15 observation levels in the pearl, three in WFC, and one in Jin Mao.

$100 for the Empire State Building! That's crazy. I know that general tickets are $20. Are the $100 tickets for the "express" ride?

30 Rockefeller is way better IMO.

I went there and my mom paid like 250 in total for me her and my sister...

I guess it might have something to do with the time of the year.
I was there start of July... ESB was PACKED.

I bet it has more to do with, to put i mildly, run-away "imagination" and nativity in thinking others are idiots and will take this fairy tales seriously...

https://tickets.esbnyc.com/

Regular tickets are $20, special "express pass" or "skyride" tickets are around $50 each.

It's $20 for 86th floor, and $15 extra for 102nd floor.
