Incredible hole. Those men must be working at least 30m below ground level. I believe ground water level is high, so imagine the size of dewatering system required. This is my favorite UC.

I thought the idea of using PT was to cut down on the amount of reinforcement required. Theres an amazing amount of steel in there.

100% correct. However PT is typically only used on suspended slabs. As PT only works in tension, it isn't used in basement levels due to the compression applied by the d-wall. Hence they need to use full layers of top and bottom reo.

A fully dug foundation hole with most of the rebar in place for the slab pour isn't even site prep?

This tower is amazing even at this early stage. I can't wait to watch it rise in person over the next four years.

yeah you lucky bastard. hopefully HK gets a new supertall (>400m) so i can enjoy it too. ICC has been around for quite a long time, it's almost like it was always there.
