is there a indoor garage like basement parking levels

i wonder why they didn't just build more indoor parking. it would suck to be the people that have to park outside like in the summer their car gets all hot and shit and criminals probably break in and steal their ipod or gps and stuff like another building for an above ground garage would be cool too like where the mall is and maybe put the mall underground idk

Not going to happen in Luijiazui, which has one of the lowest crime rates in the city.

I don't think this has anyting to do with crime rates.
Large outdoor parkings are certainly not adding coolness to central areas of any city, no matter what city it is. It should be dedicated to public spaces. The large open parking next to SWFC demonstrates a bad example of landscaping and urban integration. Although I guess it will be changed into something else (a multistorey parking occupying smaller space or better an open public space).

The parking next to SWFC looks very temporary...I'd be surprised if it remained that way forever.

They aren't going to. Luijiazui is all class A office space, which comes with top notch security. Do you see high crime around the WTC site in NYC? Nope.

Before you enter SWFC you have to pass through those security gates like in airport and get your bags checked.

Which actually makes it a good match with the direct surroundings Impressive towers, but at street level about the worst place to walk around. Two years ago it wasn't even possible to walk from the Pudong riverside to the SWFC without getting almost killed by the traffic. Luckily nowadays the situation is getting a little better, due to the walking bridge. Hopefully the rest of the public space will also be improved in time. And I guess we can be confident that it will.
