Maybe a little bit off-topic, but I hope, not too much.
Is anybody interested to see some landscape images of the Pudong skyline? To be there and to see the city is a mind-blowing experience, well, for me as a "small-towner" it was. I made some views by glueing photos together with a panorama tool. The result may still be acceptable if not too much distorted. Each photo covers an approx. 270 degree angle (well, except for the fourth picture, obviously.) The real size of each landscape photo is about 20.000 pixels (width) but these copies here have much smaller size, for bandwidth reason, to load them faster. Nice day/weekend to everybody.

It's still a great big hole in the ground.

Are there plans for underground pedestrian tunnels connecting the three towers?

It seems that they will be connected by a metro station.

isnt walking over the street faster then waiting 3 minutes for a metro and driving the few meters or is under it a big station that has exits on all sides of the roads between the towers?

It sounds obvious to me that it's the latter.

I just looked at „The Terminator's“ (post 4455) and “hsc's” (post 4450) photos of the Shanghai model in the Shanghai Urban Planning Museum. Are the sizes of the Supertalls in Pudong correctly and reliably reproduced? The Shanghai Tower does not really look 30 per cent taller than the SWFC in any of these photos. The difference 492 meters to 632 meters does not really stick out in any of these photos.

LOL, the models of the SWFC and ST are almost the same height!

It is because it is 632 to the very tip of the crown. The roof of ST is only 565m, which is about 70m above the roof of SWFC. That said, the models are off, but only by 20 or 30 meters in scale.

Some more photos, again only from June 16, but less blurry (as my friend did send me the ones he took with his camera), so thought I post them as well:

and the one from the urban planning center was taken in the entry hall, there is a more detailled model of the city on another floor, see here; and sorry, this one is blurry again

Now I doubt they will finish the underground structure before the EXPO ends.
