Thanks for the clarification people~

I can imagine the pain of the architect compromising his design when structural engineers simply cant manage to turn it into a reality XD.

Hi all.

Great updates. They have poured the floor of level B1 and done much work getting ready for the ground level. I expect to see some forms for the ground level in the coming days. They have also placed some of the inner columns extending up a few levels. Awesome progress.

As far as the curtainwall you guys may want to have a look at the Bow being constructed in Calgary, Canada. It has a similar atrium design though not exactly the same. It may answer some questions because it too has an inner and outer layer of glass. It has sky gardens between the layers on the inner curve of the building. They are placing the outer layer now.

Sadly there is often not much credit or appreciation for the engineer nor for the construction workers.

We mostly read quotes like
Heyhey, the engineer and the construction workers are HEROES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hero is greater than genius!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I respect heroes. Thank those hardworking construction workers and engineers on the construction site of ST. They are the greatest for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Architects and engineers are far different from the people who build them. The workers follow the rules given to them, and the architects and engineers break the rules and make their own that they hand to be built. I'm not sure I'd attempt to argue that the people working on the building (physically) deserve more credit than the people who designed it, based off of simple principle. How many people can collaborate and come up with a design for a working and efficient 2000ft+ tower while making it beautiful be at the same level as people who simply follow instructions given to them?

I think the main tower will have a better facade
well, maybe the inner curtain will be similar to this, but looks like the facade will have larger pieces of glass.

It's nice to finally get a picture from the street level perspective. Those cranes look huge.
