The project I was inquiring about is the one on the right labelled "Un-named KPF." Does anyone know the status?

Thank you. In China, unlike anywhere else on earth, "proposed" means that it will be built. The sleeping lion has awoken!

I was about to type the exact same thing....the core is massive and the overhead shot finally confirms what I thought at the outset of construction. None of the original short-walled structures were a part of the tower's base core. Most of the ones I remember to be in question are gone.

A very cool shot indeed....hope we can see more of that angle as it rises!

Since when China is a lion, anyway? Isn`t it, traditionally, a dragon? Or, if one wishes to follow a modern trend, a panda?

And yes panda have become a symbol of China in the recent year. You can see this trend in media and movies.

I was referring to Napoleon's quote, but supposedly, he referred to China as a sleeping giant. He allegedly said: "China is a sleeping giant. Let her sleep, for when she wakes she will shake the world."

He was right. This country has a greater history than anywhere in Europe other than Italy and Greece and a massive population. It soon will be the greatest country in the world!

Good god that's a lot of steel! Are they over-engineering this building, or does it really require that much support?
