Still need your own toilet paper though, or am I wrong?

On another, more relevant note, the steel core is absolutely massive, this thing will dominate the skyline when it's 600m in the air!

How big is the core comparing to the SWFC's core?

You don't go to Paris and only spend 160 euro on a purse, that'll hardly get you anything. I didn't know Coach is considered "super duper." j/k
For 160 you can get a super duper coin purse though.

Back on topic, I have to agree that a lot of Chinese girls will spend an disproportional amount of money on luxury goods, something that's to understand by Westerners.

My less professional contribution, taken about the same time as Tom_Green.

I am getting a sense of Deja Vu. It feels like watching SWFC rising all over again

Isn't that a good feeling? Witnessing world's best skyscraper rising once again in the same city and almost identical location. Only that this time it's better.

Hi all.

Looks like their forming for the ground level of the areas outside the 'hole'.
I'm still presuming (and wondering if) they will top down these areas.

I
EUR 160 purse ain't considered luxury in Asia. Actually the very hi-end fakes here usually cost around that amount. For EUR 160 maybe she would get a keys holder from LV.

Here are my last two pictures from the Shanghai Tower.

I would have expected to see "proper" self-rising form work... not just standard scaffolding and propping? Maybe because this building has a steel core we don't get the standard form work? It'll be interesting how they are going to scaffold all the way up to 100+ floors! I can't even imagine how they're going to build this building!
Also - IMHO, the design looks nice, but I'm not sure about the double-skin window thing from an environmental point of view as the building is using twice the resources... and the climate isn't that extreme? Also, although the garden floors are nice and spacious (and look nice in the renders)... at other points they're going to be about 2m wide and 10 floors tall and feel really weird and cramped, and feel like you're in some kind of greenhouse... also the steel work in the renders of these look too thin and skinny... I bet they're only "concept" sketches -and are going to look a whole lot worse in reality...

I think the double skin pays for itself in terms of energy consumption, and as for the 2m gardens.... well are you suggesting every room should be round so it doesn't have any corners???
