It's starting to get some real height now. I can't wait to see the full size built out now.

Definitely should be sticky, one of the tallest building in the world, most massive steel supertall, many technical details discussed, 285 pages of viewing. Enough said.

Who cares if it's sticky or not? It's the most amazing skyscraper in the world and sticking or non-sticking the thred doesn't change anything. I just don't care about such things.

Can't wait to see this one growing next year with the eventual cladding. It seems that P.O.S Onn in the SSP forums doesn't agree, thinks this will be forgotten in twenty years. I'm glad that p***k got banned.

Ping'an has generated nearly as much interest as ST, SkyTree is a TV tower not a building, and India Tower should have its sticky too.

I don't think Pingan has as much of a following as this building. The thread for Pingan only has 62 pages vs 286 pages for ST. Also the new thread about 'Favourite Supertall' (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showth...1280315&page=2) shows that actually ST is the most popular supertall u/c in the world with 54 votes...Pingan has 13.

Towers above ground generally generate more interest than holes in the ground.

Yes but even as a hole in the ground ST had much more thread activity...

There is no need to stick a thread that is anyway always in the first ones in the list.

Yeah, but that's because of the speed everything was progressing even then ... plus of course the fantastic futuristic design of the tower itself.

Exactly, taking us back to the original point I made that ST is generating more interest on these forums than Pingan IFC.
