I love this build because it reminds me off a rotor from a wankel rotary engine. It looks to be under 150 feet = 45.72 meters

The core's looking absolutely massive, can't wait to see what sort of impact it will have when the steelwork gets higher! The core wasn't even off the ground when I was in Shanghai, so it would be great to go back sometime and see the progress with my own eyes.

I expect this to rise quickly judging by the speed Chinese construction goes at these days, but anyone know when it tops out? My guess is 2014-5 sometime?

There isn't. I only hope it'll reach 200m.

Hi all.

Hi Dutch.

The same height as the last weeks. The columns are level 12 - the tops are just above the floor of level 13. The concrete is up to the floor of level 12 now though. Looks like all the supercolumns have their next sections up. Looks like the podium steel is still just beginning as it was last week.

Ray.

Once X3-2 and Shanghai Tower is built, that place will be Lujiazui's most awesome cluster, from the IFCs to SWFC to CITI Bank, Bank of East Asia, and Mirae Asset!
