Seems to be totally out of place...
This leads to another question. Are the luxury condos at the front occupied? I do not see any curtains or any household item in the balcony.
Can some one explain. Thanks.

Do a google search for China's most expensive apartments and you will find the answer. The condos on the left side are "tomson riviera", I think the first unit sold for like 16 million USD a few years back, and I don't know if they have sold many (any) more.

Thank you gonard for the information. The developer must have very deep pocket to let them stay almost empty.

It is the developer's strategy to leave the apartments empty. A lot of units from Tomson are sold during recent years hwoever.

Looks like the yellow/red steel columns are temporary. Maybe for the giant ring truss that will be at the level where the steel parts are sticking out the concrete core?

Not to stray too far off topic. I was wondering what is that white structure next to the SWFC? If I recall wasn't that a parking lot? Does anyone know what they are doing or building there?

Umm...is this a forum error? The title says India Tower, when this is in China.

Oh wait...all of the threads are messed up. (Nice updates, btw! )
