It seems to me that the floor plate can not be further proceeded until they jump the crane again, but that is not gonna happen until the raise the core, a bit of a bottleneck here?

it looks behind schedule.

After watching these videos, it really makes you realize how amazing this skyscraper is. It is taking the sky lobby to the next level and the way the curtain wall looks is truly spectacular.

That's exactly what I said a while ago, the frame is catching up with the core. But I never thought about it hitting the bottom of the cranes.

PS that monitor must be a mac, I've seen those 1440's at Best Buy.

I'm looking at renders as well as the trusses protruding at levels 6/7 and asking how much farther will the facade as well as floor plates stick out from the main exterior skeleton and super columns? Will all the floors extend out as far as those trusses are going? I don't see those trusses in any renderings. They look like they should be part of the first big atrium/gray things dividing the nine sections isn't suppossed to be until over level 10 according to this render; look at the one to the right.

Also, if that render is accurate, that means that entire area between the atriums will be completely open? That is a huge amount of additional glass required to do that, and a lot of "wasted" space. Judging by the render to the right, the amount of volume in the outer area between the attriums has to be as much as the whole main part of the building.

@Miami high rise, you should watch the videos posted by patrykus, demonstrates your question very clearly.

The regular floors wont extend as far as the trusses, there is going to be a large amount of empty space in the building.

The floor plates rocketed but the core hasnt changed..

So the first atrium is going to be lower than the render shows? The first atrium is going to be on level 7, where the trusses are.

Hi all.

Hi Kix.

I see no reason why the floorplates can't continue up leaving a hole (to be filled in later) for the crane masts. That happens on many projects.

The radial truss on level 7 that can be seen sticking out past the belt truss has been there for weeks.

Great shot of level B3. If that is correct it looks like they are working on B4 now.

The next 2 belt truss levels that are behind the form are complex and it makes sense they will take longer before the form jumps.

Hi Miami.

Old renders I think. The first 'sky garden' is on level 8, just above the radial trusses.

Here is a screenshot from the Gensler PDF

The blue levels (6 and 7) are the belt truss levels. I find it interesting that Gensler shows level 6 as shorter than 7 when it is the other way around on the structure. No matter, it still has them in the correct spot and shows 20 and 21 as the next 2.

I think this may be the final podium design - or at least a better representation.
