This is awesome. Three of the world's best skyscrapers will be right next to each other!

It's a good idea, a bed made of I-beams for skyscraper-fans...

Shanghai/Pudong can get hot and humid (Pudong was marshlands) in the summer.

The main reason for nap time ...

Napping has been found to be beneficial. Napping for 20 minutes can help refresh the mind, improve overall alertness, boost mood and increase productivity. - Wikipedia

I'm new to this skycraper watch hobby and I'm really curious why you say 3 of the world's best skyscrapers are in Shangahi. Are they like, objectively speaking, the best constructed buildings or do you just happen to be fond of their design?

Cause 101 and Burj must be also pretty impressive from a technical standpoint, no?

From a design standpoint it will probably be one of the better clusters in the world. Also the fact as to how fast they shot up over a short span of time.

From a structures point of view, how come most buildings in Shanghai are built with a solid concrete core but bulk is steel? is it due to the weather conditions or just the general cost of cast concrete?

No, it rose about three floors the last few weeks. The reason for the apparent
stoppage is both the core and the floor plates are arising, so the portion
of the core staying above the floor plates does not change much.
