I think Freedom tower is finishing first, in 2013 and Shanghai tower in late 2014

i can't help but be a little unnerved by the typhoons...imagine a situation like their HSR one, but with a supertall tower (they do seem to be great quality lately though).

9/11'd by natural disasters. could be quite a crazy event.

Im sure those towers are designed to withstand such typhoons, by any means, typhoon is not a rare occasion in Shanghai at this time of the year.

ST is significantly higher than WTC in terms of usable floor, also the crown of ST looks very complicated, probably gonna take a long time to build it.

Not just over 200m it's nearly 300 but nonetheless theirs no way st can catch up unless 1wtc goes on hold or something bad like that.

It's good to see some beams poping out the core, sign that will rise.

The floor height of Lv28 is 131.65m, and now the tip of the tower is slightly taller than that.
