why are those green nets and bamboo sticks still surrounding the super columns? will this continue for the rest of the tower?

It's actually a 120 I believe. The architecture firm toyed with different rotations and came up with one that is best for airflow around the tower. It's all on the PDF for the tower.

The scaffolding is for workers to grid off the rust from the super columns and apply anti corrosion coating. And for the last time those are not bamboo sticks, but rather steel rods, China rarely use bamboo to build scaffolding around high rises let along a super tall. Most of those rods are painted yellow and people often mistake them for bamboo.

Also because the columns will eventually be embedded within concrete.

The area looks incredible at night. I've usually only seen nighttime skyline shots. But up close the area looks just as vibrant. Thanks for the photos.

Which is hard to believe when you see how lit up 1WTC is at night. You would think it would be the opposite..
