The plots in this Pudong area is running out. Is there plans for more expansion and connection to the inner Pudong area? ie getting rid of the residential blocks?

Yeah, there are indeed some projects along Century Avenue (between Lujiazui and Century Park), but they are all not very high (max. 200m).

Shanghai also has some big plans for the site of Expo 2010, it's located roughly in the east of Lujiazui.

Plots are maybe running out in the Luijazhui area, but still plenty of space left. They should build lower blocks around all the (free-standing) towers to fill all the lost space and get more streetlife. But guess they will never do this.

yea, they need to fill in the spaces between the supertalls and other skyscrapers and make it more dense. such as fill in the big carparks (are they still there?) and some green spaces (of course not all of them)

Shanghai is amazing!!
