Not trying to start city vs. city, but does Pudong remind anyone else of Lower Manhattan? Like, the physical shape, and the Three Brothers are like the WTC?

Hi all.

Great stuff Nord.

The new top crane supports are at level 31.
The highest double level columns, now covered by the forms are levels 34 and 35. The column splices are just above the floor of level 36.

The second belt truss is coming along nicely.
Levels 35 and 36 are the third belt truss levels.

Ray.

And soon they will start with some more projects in front of the Shimao Riviera garden. First new project is a 90 meter high office tower, for Hainan Airways.

It would be my pleasure. Its on the lower right corner on the Pudong side. In front of those wide residential buildings.

In the last few updates this building looks really tall, it seems to have got to the stage where it doesn't look so fat anymore and actually looks tall

P.S Great updates and pics as always

I think 10 years down the road developers will be seriously thinking about squeeze more plots between the buildings and build mostly tall and skinny towers without large annex buildings. Right now the density is still no where near Manhattan level.

You are only looking at Lujiazui, which is one of the many large business districts within Shanghai.

With that said, there are also large plots of land leftover from the Expo 2010 which are again, are under planning to become another CBD. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

There is no "Manhattan level," only Shanghai.
