Expo site is huge, both Pudong and Puxi areas. Hope not another CBD (already quite a few CBD's), heard Shanghai wants to organize the Olympics in 2028, maybe they can use the Expo area for this (if they get it). http://955.cc/ad

I think they're cantilevered. That's why the belt trusses are there, to make them stronger.
