Man, that is one remarkable post by 10025. This building is beyond belief. Something interesting I discovered: if you scroll fairly quickly through the post, the floor plans seem to grow and rotate as you move down through the building.

nice photos of the construction.
do you know if the construction is going well, schedule, budget, etc?
This is Gensler's first skyscraper.
it will be impressive if they pull this off well.
brave developer!

Expo site is huge, both Pudong and Puxi areas. Hope not another CBD (already quite a few CBD's), heard Shanghai wants to organize the Olympics in 2028, maybe they can use the Expo area for this (if they get it). http://dig.la/5Y

LOL. Someone is trying to advertise. No wonder this post looks familiar. A new way to not get caught though.

So are those spambots posting that and they've just gotten super smart or is that an actual person making an entire account just to post that one link?

How is it that 86 elevators fit into 41 slots? Are there express elevators and skylobbies?

Slots can be shared since not every elevator goes from the ground, to the top floor.

This should be illustrative:

but not like it's anything new. For example original World Trade Center twins used this solution too.

Yeah, but there were two skylobbies in a 110 floor building there. Here are eight lobbies, plus you even have to transfer when going up to lvl 10, which is kind of extreme IMO.

There are eight sky lobbies, but it doesn't mean people need to transfer a lot, hope this can help:

But in the highest parts of the core is a lot of empty space.
