It depends what you mean by "beating". If height alone then probably not. If style, sexiness and sophistication then neither Burj Dubai, nor any other existing or known proposed skyscrapers in or Around the Persian Gulf don't stand even a tiny chance. I am much more interested in the second criteria than height alone.

burj khalifa's top floor is at 621m if you can trust wikipedia. neither ST nor pingan will have a higher top floor, but well we are getting there
