Shanghai soil is very soft as the article stated, it's not Manhattan, so this could potentially be very dangerous, maybe this is why the tower hasn't grown in the past month.

But she is a beutiful building and hope it's all figured out soon

Yes, Shanghai is known to have problematic soil and land erosion. I hope it's nothing too serious as far as construction goes.

They are building a new metro, a underground walk path and there is construction going on around SWFC too, so it could be anything really.

I think it should be located on the road between SWFC and Jinmao.
