Sadly, as far as I know it's going to be a park (accessible, not a fenced off patch of grass like before) with a new entrance to the Lujiazui subway station.

thats actually not sad, because greenspace is a good thing near skyscrapers. imagine going through a nice park so near to three of the best skyscrapers on earth

Yeah, but Lujiazui could really use some density. There is already Lujiazui Park across the street.

It used to be a park, and there was path you can walk through. But it actually look like an empty plot now @[email protected]

I think it would be nice to add some 100+ there.

It would be nice to see an 800m building in that plot.

drew.magoo on the previous page commented on how quickly the columns are converging on the core and I was noticing the same thing. I realize that the core is going to get smaller but if you look at the core that has already been constructed which isn't getting any smaller and then look at the angle of those converging columns it actually appears as though those columns would end up coming into contact with the core after another ten stories or so. Obviously, that isn't going to happen and it may just be due to the angle that the photos were taken but at what point will the core be noticeably reduced in size and will that angle of the columns be the same all the way to the top? Thanks.

Note that the core is shown from an angle diagonal to its square shape. If viewed perpendicularly from the one of the four sides, there would appear to be more of a gap between the columns and core You're right though that the exterior columns are converging on the core. The top most floor prior to each core setback is likely a sky lobby. This tower is using sky lobbies right?
