May the yellow cover on the first truss belt be some form of mold to build the support structures for outer cladding?

Really doubt about that... For me it really look like some kind of working platform. From up close it doesn't look like just a protective net. It's proper steel structure. Just thing about it. Normally they would need big ass scaffolding to install this outer cladding layer. But if you have ceiling above your head why don't just use it? I'm pretty sure it will be much easer than installing the scaffolding and working with it on the way.

That may be some unique construction ahead of us. Can't wait

It looks great now. I hope they will continue without a facade for a very long time. I want to see the inner structure rise for as long as possible.

We all knew this was gonna become one of the most exciting construction sites, and now it starts to show.

Note how small the floor plates are. Not much space left after the core and super columns. Another false economy.

Looks small in the pictures in comparison to the core, but still huge in absolute terms.

Floor space is definatelly adequate to its height.

Floor space of some other towers compared to shanghai tower according to ctbuh:

Shanghai Tower | 632m | 521,000 mē ratio: 821mē/m
SWFC | 492m | 381,600 mē ratio: 775mē/m
OWTC | 541M | 325,279 mē ratio: 601mē/m
The Shard | 306m | 127,489 mē ratio: 416mē/m
Burj Khalifa | 828m | 309,473 mē ratio: 373mē/m

As it seems there are a lot of towers with much worse ratio.

I think this makes this tower perfect combination between ambitious and economic feasible project. It has iconic design and still holds some record braking statistics

170.000 square meters of the floor area is below ground. And as you know, there is not only the number of floors but also the height of each floor, so I don't know if this idea makes any sense. The point was to compare the gross floor area to the net floor area. The buildings shape and volume are important too.
