Wow this is really shunting. Love the way the skirting hangs down from each truss belt.

I have asked in the Chinese forums and there is no apparent proposal for that area of land.

Totally agreed. The perspective of the pic is very cool but the HDR over saturation ruins the picture.
It's like putting way too much sugar in tea.

Interesting that it will be hanging from the belt truss. That won't be very rigid.

They have added another double level set of columns.
I take it Mori is pointing at the top of the form and stating it is just above level 60 (I can't read Chinese)
His Timeline with the drawing is awesome by the way.
Pretty much. The Chinese just says it's approximately 60 floors in height.

It is a fantastic drawing. Given how tall this guy looks already, it's just mindblowing to realize that it's still less than half of its final height!

ST from the Bund

I compared this photo(22 april) with the diagrams of Jinmao, which shows it's above 280 m. Won't take long before its starts to influence the skyline seen from the Bund.

It also appears to be tethered to each floor plate.

I think they are actually more attached to the floor plates than the truss belt?

If you look at the way the Jin Mao shopping centre has been built, it does indicate that there is space for two smaller buildings. They don't have to bee large or massive, just two shorter buildings, ie less than twenty floors or even ten floors would suffice.
