One thing that I appreciate about SH is how different everything looks from
different perspectives.

Also, I really like the outer curtain. I almost wish that it wasn't getting cladding and that they could have incorporated this into the design instead.

Essentially, something like this

The second pic is incredible.
Now imagine a completed Shanghai Tower and a completed White Magnolia Plaza on the left hand sind of the pic...

yeah!haha. I really regret spending so much of my time getting shuttled around in the metro. I remember the first time I took a taxi and he drove on the elevated highway (in the evening mind you). My head nearly exploded!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKsUI...eature=related(the music is rather loud...lol)

Anyways, I feel like I should shut-up. I'm detracting the main focus of the thread. Sorry :P

Great design and this could have worked here as well, I guess, but I like the outer skin as it will be now as well.
The current design is clearly as smooth as possible.

Could this possibly be the most challenging and complicated facade solution EVER?

it's too small for a piece of cladding i would say. and if you zoom in a bit it doesn't look like cladding for me.
