Makes me very curious to see the interior cladding. The glass going up now seems like it would let in quite a lot of heat. I would have thought it would be the opposite - darker outer glass, lighter inner glass....

Then again, aren't they employing a special way to regulate the temp (without AC)? Rain water?

Thanks for the document, really interesting. The idea of the skygardens looks really cool. I hope the city within a city concept works well for this building. Are these skygardens going to be open to the public or do you have to work in the building to have access?

they will do the inner cladding with a spider crane that will sit on the floors above where the windows will be placed. It hangs over the edge of the floors above, lowering windows into place.

If you watch a tv show called 'build it bigger' on the Science Channel, they show how it's done on a building in Azerbaijan (sp?)

Yeah, as far as I'm aware of this building has to be the most complex glass facade ever designed. Should look incredible when it's finished.
