Two layers of Cladding ? Whoaa thats brilliant, Gensler is on a roll with all those awesome cylindrical towers coming up, would love to visit Shanghai someday !

My thought's exactly,, I'm actually starting to stash money away now to make a tour in china in 5 years,, Shanghai to Hong Kong to Tianjin to Shenzhen to Taipei,, all which will have these megastructurs complete by 2017 (hopefully).. I know its going to take a good amount of USD to accomplish it,, But pictures and memories GALORE..

Hi Kix, I think it is 'Shanghai Arch' seem to remember that when driving past. I looked at an apartment in Shimao Riviera and this was going to take the view of The Bund etc so I went for something in Central Lujiazui.

No new headquarter of Hainan Airlines, hotel is phase 2, not under construction yet.

I thought they'd build their headquarters in Haikou or Sanya.

On topic: I can't wait to visit the sky gardens in this building. They look nice in the renders but I hope they can throw a lot more vegetation in the sky gardens. Make it look more like a jungle than a sparsely treed park.
