Anybody know for certain, if the inner cladding will have any color tint, to give the tower a colored look??? At all.. Like I said I saw plenty of renders the last 12 months that depicted it as "Green Looking"

I agree with you there, throw in some filler boxes. Also let's make Luijiazui a 24/7 business, entertainment playground. Not to beat a dead horse in this thread but Luijiazui is a very lonely place outside of the buildings.

On the upside I think they'll work to make it better and better. They already are with the Shanghai Tower.

It is South Bund. You can see the SOHO plot at the riverside and those condos in Lujiazui are on the south side of Lujiazui...
...but you're right, it isn't Indigo. Indigo is closer to the river...my fault.

This building has to be somewhere behind Yu Garden.

That up close shot is awesome!!! The outer shell from far away appears to have flimsy support but up close it's strong and well braced.

Shanghai Tower is like stacking two supertalls on top of each other. Pretty much solid to the top with little tapering.

You are correct.

Now I need to find it.

Edit; Actually from two different locations, one I think is The Westin Bund Centre or similar.

With the inner cladding and outside cladding,I think people work in the building will feel oppressive. And the light of tower won't be showy. However, the shape of this tower is very spectacularly.

Does the glass cladding have a transparent plastic that will be peeled off when the building is completed? If you look closer it looks like there is company logos at the bottom and top of the glass and small dark dots at the upper part of the glass window. If so it's gonna apear even more transparent.

The beauty of this skyscraper is the double skin transparent glass. Anyone of you who say that the cladding should have a green tint or any other color are wrong. That defeats the purpose of having a double layer skin. Thanks to the double layer skin we can have a transparent glass. Transparent glass is much more beautiful and the next level in skyscraper innovation.

It does have a transparent plastic, i can see that it is partially peeled off.

The glass has plastic on it. Look in the low right corner.
