why cladding inside and outside? woudn't make sense to clad the outside en just make a fence inside for preventing of falling off?

Pics are not mine, but anyway I'm not sure what you are referring to as green inner cladding, because at least part of the stuff you see trough the windows is just green scaffoldings. Anyways if you are wondering about the look of inner cladding I believe those renders are quite final and accurate (the structure supporting exterior glass looks exactly like on this renders). Not sure if ever posted.

Nice renders. I am wondering how rigid that frame for the outer skin is. Will it flex in strong winds and how will the glass panels cope with that.

I love this building! Its intrincated structure talks seriously about the genius of the architects that planned it...

oops... you're right, that's netting, not cladding

anyway, it will be easier for them to the the inner cladding- they can stack all the panels up on the floors above where the are working then lower them into place from a crane on the next floor up, where on the outer cladding, it looks like they're lowering the panels from the next higher platform level

The main reason why the building is shaped the way it is (to divert/reduce potential wind loads).

Gah! I can't believe I missed the 632nd page! ): I wanted to make a comment about how that's the height of this marvelous building, and how it's my favorite number (due to this being my favorite building). Stupid college... v.v

yep, shanghai is changing fast. Came across this article today. Pretty sad to see the timeless treasures that have been lost in the pursuit of short term economic gain:

in the other photos, it is possible to see the inner cladding, but it can be quite difficult. this one makes it very obvious. It should look amazing when the cladding is right around the inside!

It's climbing so darn fast.. Love the Photos,, but the "Girl" come on guys,, lets focus on the Background, Looks great,, her on the other hand "Just" OK, I'm not gonna say she's ugly,, but I would never quote about her..So it's the netting, and not the Cladding that has a greenish tint??? That's too bad,, The Green would look Awesome....

That's why I asked how old you were.
That's about 3 times now that you've posted your judgements on some poor girl who you'll never meet's attractiveness.
Stop it, no one gives a fck.
