Anyway 4 is an unlucky number in Chinese. Make 8 and each new one should have an 8 in its number 88 Floors, 888 Meters, etc....

Thanks Guys... Been away a couple days. Lowai, I appreciate the pics you post!

So what do you do when you say you photoshop these pics? Is it just touch-ups?

The inner cladding is actually giving the outer cladding a blue-ish tone, cool!

This was taken through a window, but the weather doesn't help either.

Anyone seen the new OO7 film Skyfall? It shows some scenes from Shanghai at the begining! There are some incredible images of Pudong and Shanghai tower U/C!

Because the skyline is new, futuristic and China as a whole is trendy and a huge market for movies.

Yes very cool! But the tower 007 went in, the biggest one in those shots, was actually a fantasy tower. Looked really cool though. That's also a trend you see more and more in movies. Real life places with some CGI to give it a twist.

However the base of the tower was real and is actually from a building in London:

Hopefully somebody can post some shots of this sci-fi building in Shanghai, I can't find any.
