From 45 degrees it tapers and directly it is vertical.
If you wrapped the jin mao with plastic it would look like 1wtc.

Also noticed that internal and external cladding is now progressing at the same pace, whilst in the first section they cladded the whole outer skin before cladding the internal facade.
Is there any reason why they now changed the cladding procedure?
I think the inner cladding installation is much faster than the outer one, so despite the fact it started later it has now caught up with the outer cladding progress, and is actually surpassing it. However I don't think they will want to install the inner cladding too far ahead the outer one, so I expect the progress of them be paced neck to neck.

So I made an update on this tower, there were so many photogenic pictures in this thread I couldn't resist! I took what I thought were the best and made my most favorite video so far, enjoy!

Seriously, what is the purpose of all that "toilet paper"? Is it temporary tape to protect the beams?

Installers are not paper peeler . I think that job is left for the 'cleaners'.

Great pictures, but why do none of the skyscrapers have there lights on in them, even though it's pretty dark?

I try:
1st shot - maybe darkness is due to weather conditions, not to TOD (Time Of Day)
2nd shot - it's a dawn, not a sunset (the pic is facing East), and they've just turned all lights off.

These area's for people to walk and enjoy between to 2 curtain walls seem to come about every 15 stories. I'm thinking it would have been better if they came every 10 stories instead. So that there would be more of them for more people to enjoy.

Possible reasons: weekend, after working hours...
