Youre ahead of the times, ST is at the bottom SWFCs trapezoidal opening.

Nice, so there is hope for Lujiazui to become warm and more pedestrian friendly.

Of course is an eye effect.
The original pic was posted 24 hours ago at Gaoloumi, and latest reports credit ST of 425-430 meters. But the top of the cranes will reach 492m very soon.....

I think it's a walkway connecting SWFC, Jin Mao and the rest of the walkway to the metro station.

btw: look between JinMao and SWFC....... it's another excavation site?
The usable space is probably much more than the area of the core, but it still seems that when the tower becomes taller and the cylinder narrows, there is such little space between the core and the inner glass.

Also, it doesnt look like it connects to the jin mao, only swfc

I believe there's an underground concourse, if I'm not mistaken...which I THOUGHT they were connecting to that Line 2 metro station nearby.

The bridge is for pedestrians, because right now, its f***ing impossible to walk around lujiazui.

Sometimes you get a sense of hopelessness because the building you see is right across the road but you have no way of getting to it.

Great pic! Shaghai is so surreal! Love it! This tower will look amazing in Shanghai's skyline!
I also like the cladding a lot.

Are there any latest views cown on Shanghai Tower from that last viewpoint?

Also, when shall the construction end for New Year? On which day of February, or January already? And shall the Shanghai Tower surpass the 474 m observation deck of WFC in this (Dragon) year?

You have to ask Gensler for so detailed timelines, I'm afraid.......

I think it was mentioned somewhere that there won't be the new year break.

If it's at 425m now, it's unlikely it'll be up to 475m by Chinese New Year - that's only 5 weeks away.
