Thanks to Nordschliefe for getting us such great photos, as always! The cranes are now almost at the level of the top of the SWFC next door.

Off topic but does anyone have any idea what is being built on that small plot next to Jin Mao? It looks like construction has started, but not too sure if its even going to be a tower?

There won't be a tower, it is some green park area.

When the steel is at the eighth truss belt, two cranes go away ( around 550m ), the other two cranes build the remaining steel and the shrinked core until the basic tower is topped out, and they do the biggest steel of the crown, Then they are finished and another crane is build in the center of the crown, which breaks the two cranes down and build more of the crown, then that one builds a smaller crane to brake itself down, that crane builds another smaller crane and so on until the crane is small enough to fit into an elevator. I guess it will go something like that. I hope it was clear.

Anyway, it's right, 2 floors left to the 6th truss belt.
1. does this mean that the tower twists more at the bottom than it does at the top? Or do they increase the difference of angles between truss belts at the higher sections to compensate for more floors?

2. What are those little red roofed houses at the base of ST? for construction workers?

3. it is now taller than 1WTC!

The core is over 417m right? Then it's higher.

Looking at the picture, its clearly not going to be a park. There are even red roof residences for construction workers.
Anyone else with any idea?

Nothing will be built there, it's reserved green space.
