That cladding is even better than I expected. Great reflection thanks to 2 layers of glass.

Excellent, excellent pictures. I saw them, and the weirdest sound escaped my mouth. I really can't wait to see those same pictures when the tower is complete.

Not that much ....... more or less, the same height you can actually see 'naked' will need to be added.
We actually have (out of 7) 2 sections cladded, 3 with floor framing w/o cladding, 1 with core only and 1 still totally missing (to be built).

Yep, but the crown will be built above the core and won't be a part of it (the original question was: "the core must be close to topping out, no?", by thejacko5)

City Weekend Shanghai, a popular Shanghai culture and entertainment magazine, predicted that the ongoing development and planned topping out of the massive Shanghai Tower will be one of the biggest stories for that city in 2013.

Titled “Shanghai 2013 in Preview: The Biggest Stories in the Coming Year,” the article quoted Marshall Strabala, Chief Architect of the Shanghai Tower, who is also Founder and Design Partner of 2DEFINE Architecture. Read the story at City Weekend Shanghai’s website at: http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shangh...-coming-year-/

...or read the excerpt about the Shanghai Tower at Strabala’s Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/archite...in/photostream
