Please don't tell me that ugly green is the final color of those interior beams. It looks terrible.

And even if it's some other color, the interior still looks much less appealing than I anticipated. It seems messy and overwhelming. The beams are just too big an obstruction of any meaningful outside view. While the dual-layer cladding looks fancy on the outside, it looks like a giant birdcage on the inside. On most floors, occupants' windows will have some distance from the outer cladding, and the result is they'll see, day after day, the beams instead of a nice clean cityscape. That's gotta be extremely annoying.

Wow, it almost reached SWFC now. It has to be above 460m now.

I am guessing about 455 from that photo. The observation deck on the SWFC is 474 and the core of ST seems to be 15 or 20 metres lower at the moment.

If I remember fine, the official renderings were showing white painted beams..... let's hope they have to be painted still.

About the birdcage effect, the pic is showing one of the three 'angles' of the external facade where the bending of the facade itself is more prominent and where it's farther from the floors perimeter. Only in these three zones there's the cross-bracing displayed in the pic, whilst along all the rest of the perimeter there're horizontal beams only (w/o cross-bracing).

Interior beams look dark grey-charcoal to me...

I think you'll find that the occupants will be looking out their windows

Skygarden does look a bit bulky and messy from that view, let's
wait and see how it looks when completed with a bit of greenery in there

This to show what I was meaning with the post above ....... the part you can see from inside in Nordschleife's pic is on the left in this rendering of my model:

This to show the individual floor framing for cladding support structure (vertical ties not featured)

That plus the fact that pic is taken at about 500ft high so the space between the inner and the outer cladding is considerably more than at 1500ft.

That's right also.
Anyway, the birdcage effect is quite evident in the three rounded corners of the external cladding, at any height.
Just hope that painting beams in white will minimize the visual impact.

It doesn't make a lot of sense to paint the supports afterwards. That's a lot of work and will require scaffolding on an unbelievable scale! Plus the possible paint splatter on the inner and outer cladding? Crazy to not powdercoat the supports in white before assembly on the tower.
