Effectively .... I didn't thought to all of these drawbacks ..... but I fear they've been crazy indeed ...... because they surely cannot leave the beams wrapped into 'scotch tape' as they're now, so they'll have to come back and work on those anyway .....

Whatever, back to Shanghai.
Mexico City has quite a few as well, just not condensed as NY

Current height 461 m. I don`t expect core increase soon. Every time when they build some trust belt, the core increase, but after that lost speed and accent is about floors.

So ST is now sixth tallest building in the world.

The core is slowed also during his reshaping - it's not seen, but I'm sure that the trust belts steel structure is also inside core. When the core reach subsequent trust belt (now is near to 7) - climb slows.

So it looks to add as much height as is currently from the 6th truss belt to the current top of the core.

About where the top of this image is.

When ST is finished i think Shanghai should be considered the best skyline in the world. I mean NY doesn't have supertalls and most buildings are old. Dubai only has BK and not so many buildings in general and HK has more buildings but not as high as ST. Just my opinion

I guess. Anyway NY's tallest is Freedom Tower which isn't quite tall, not counting the spire. And it's only one. Shanghai has 3

Shanghai has 3 what? Not one megatall, neither has NYC, and Dubai has 1.
And Dubai not so many buildings? It has 19 buildings over 300m while Shanghai has 4. And NYC has 6. It's your opinion but if you think 400 isn't tall, there are not many cities good enough you I think.

My friend, you seem to have no notion about how tall 400m are. Did you ever stand in front of a structure taller than 200m or 300m? I guess not! So stop saying freedom tower isn't very tall.

I believe they classified 600m as megatall. NY has 2 supertall and one of that is under construction. Shanghai has about 8 supertalls.

Not to mention 432 Park might become the tallest one in North America for a while
