Cant wait for the shot of this building to be in the next blockbuster movie. Something like Mission Impossible or James Bond.

What about the Day After Tomorrow 2. With a tidal wave that hits Shanghai and it will be flooded by 500 meter of water. You will see only this tower rising out the sea.

Maybe some people don't like to hear this, but there's some truth behind this statement (taken from another thread, hope punk doesn't mind ):

Sorry, but that is merely an opinion, so there is no truth to speak of behind it.

I dont want to sound too defensive here, but why do you even bother quoting such thing here.

This tower should be 90% done, exterior wise, this yr? The cladding doesn't take long and the core is above 400m so now its really the time to build a 230m tower? I know many people say mid 2014 or sometime around that but for us, if its done externally, then its pretty much complete

Which truth? it's not even a critic, he didn't give any fact/physical flaw to conceive anything, not to mention a solution. so speaking of truth would be irrelevant.

It's just you sharing the opinion you quoted, not The Truth.

The whole area looks much more "greener" in the render. It looks like a park with skyscrapers. Quite different from reality.

Which is a good thing. Small green area's between skyscrapers don't really work. I much rather have high density streets with less but bigger and busier parks.

The cladding seems just marvelous. And it's great to see such big annual progress in this comparison photo.

There are actually quite a few trees in the pic at the top.
