I would guess so also, but it would be sad if those areas will be gone. I was lucky enough to live just across from the street from one of those, and the food and atmosphere there is great.

Caught my attention too.

Every city has lower income housing, but in my city nobody lives in them And there are no skyscrapers.

Hmmm...I'd say that'll mostly stay along the river banks and in Lujiazui for the immediate future. Long term, that area will undoubtedly become more attractive.
I just don't see too many high rises going in (especially now that everyone is trying to be more empathetic to the affordability of housing for many). Probably a gentrification like that in [Luwan] Huangpu.

Not EVERY area is, or can be, highrises

The third one is taken recently.

These pictures are priceless, just about the coolest shots I've ever seen,, That crane operator has balls of steel,, I think I'd vomit just knowing I was above or in the clouds like that, but to capture the pinnacle of all 3 supertalls like that is beautiful. Then the distance pic from little universe, damn that looks like some very tight living arrangements.

I agree. Only too bad these pics aren't in high resolution.

I think you and lowai,(kix) will have something to remember, cherish the rest of your lives, witnessing this glorious megatall from top to bottom. I Imagine if you saw this 1 rise you possibly seen the other 2 go up as well? If so that is true you guys are very fortunate.
