And what silly tower in TOKYO are you talking about, not Ping An are you? Unless they consider Shenzhen, part of Tokyo, or do they have a new bldg planned for TOKYO, I haven't seen or been introduced to yet, yet? I'm not a Geographer when it comes to China, but Is that what you're talking about, because I see your point about the 3 meters, and wanting ST to beat It but not with a silly spire. Perhaps 1 of you could answer my question thank you. If not could someone please help?

Don't worry, ST will be 632m tall. It's the core that will top out at around 550m.

KE was talking about Tokyo Sky Tree:

They changed the shape of the hole to one that resulted in LESS force from the wind, so no need to redesign the rest of the structure.

It's just the core which will top out at 550m/562m, so don't worry . ST will be 632m tall.

Yup, Shanghai's stagnating skyline is so frustrating.

That render is from a perfect angle to notice how flat the skyline of Lujiazui actually is without the big three. Altough all other tall tower are out of the pic.

Will be a very nice cluster when completed. Cities like Shenzhen can build their 15+ supertalls, but they still cant compare to the Pudong skyline. Goes to show that quality far outweighs quantity.

can't agree on that one,
when Caiwuwei is completed, the area around it with Kingkey and Shun Hing can compare to Pudong quite well and that not mentioning a lot of more supertalls not far away that area as well
