LEED certs are widely recognizable as imperfect and gameable. That isn't to say they're worthless. It merely acknowledges what the certs truly mean.

For example, LEED doesn't take into account necessity of structure. That is what the guy was quite civilly commenting on.

Should be arround as tall as SWFC now, so 490m-493m. Last time it was 488m, i guess it has risen another floor since then.

Every nation that developed went through a phase of polluting the environment. To insist that those developing nations not go through that step, buying 'Green' tech from the already developed nations (of course) seems to be a case of pulling up the ladder after one has ascended to developed status.

^ ST is sexy all around! I can't get enough of this building. The more complete it gets the more I feel that this is one of the greatest skyscrapers ever built by mankind thus far. Not even the Burj Khalifa, impressively tall as it is, gives me goosebumps the same way this tower does.

It really is one gorgeous building! Such a nice fluidity, a beautiful design... I wish we had one of these here in my city!
