The Shanghai Tower is looking phenominal. I LOVE that black and white birds eye view picture as well - world class!

Kanto china hand has it at 548 right now. L.A.F.2. has it 550-560. Both are pretty good sources. But we don't have an official ruling.

China Hand's sounds more accurate. 560 was too generous. Checking my diagrams, we're somewhere between 545 and 553.

Haha no..I am a big fan of Eslite.. Eslite is a bookstore that has a good environment for readers to actually sit down and read, some open 24hours in Taipei with cafes, design shops, teahouses, boutique shops etc..Imagine taking an elevator to 52nd Floor in an office building for a bookstore..wandering around the bookstores and read books with a magnificent view Cuz most of the bookshops I have been to are located either on street level or inside a mall..Looking forward to it..Cant wait..

Cladding is over half completed, and the interior cladding is almost at the 5th retaining ring.

Hey folks, thanks for the info. I've updated my diagram with the current height of 548 meters or 1798 feet. One small note I would like to add is that I have changed the roof height of Burj Khalifa in my diagram to 670 meters or 2198 feet because I did some balancing tweaks to my roof height measurement system. It's a work in progress and if you'd like to post feedback to this system, its thread can be found here: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1630487

Roof height used below

The stadium you see in the middle is Hongkou Football Stadium, the one to the upper right corner is Shanghai Stadium (us locals usually call it "eighty-thousand-man stadium as it has a capacity of 80000).

It is if you scroll to the right,, Kanto goes by roof height so his diagrams go by roof not spire.
